Which spiritual routines do you have, that light up your daily life?

HOW DO YOU FILL YOUR DAY WITH GOOD AND HEALTHY ROUTINES?

Do you ever stop to think about how you can incorporate something like that into your daily life- something that nurtures your soul and stimulates your mental and emotional growth?

You may be one out of many who thinks that there’s just no time for that sort of thing. But have you ever heard the old Zen saying:

“You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day,
unless you are too busy. Then you should sit for an hour”?

USE YOUR GIFTS PURPOSEFULLY

Life is not only about acquiring material things or trying to look in a certain way as directed by someone else. Life is not about running from A to Z to please others for their gain. And the Universe does not count how much material wealth you have gathered.

Life is about using your special gifts in order to benefit yourself and the greater good.

You are part of the Universe-

  • in a spiritual sense – so honor your spiritual gifts by nurturing them and using them for the highest good for all.
  • in a physical sense – so honor your physical body in its natural way.
  • in a mental sense – so feed your mind with nurturing, uplifting and expansive thoughts.
  • in an emotional sense – so honor your emotions, release the ones that no longer serve you and treasure the love within your experience.

FILL YOUR DAY WITH NURTURING ROUTINES

So what can you do to nurture your spirituality, uplift your intellect, stimulate your positive emotions and feed your body in healthy ways?

I am providing some tips for soulful habits that can bring you in touch with your intuition. Depending on your interests, you may find some inspiration here to make up your own list:

  • Pull oracle/divination cards/tarot/energy cards
  • Meditate (!) for your own answers and insight
  • Do some gardening
  • Read
  • Notice your intentions and how synchronicities match up to them
  • Do some mindful exercise like e.g. yoga, kriya breathing
  • Go out in nature (hug a tree, sit on a rock near the beach, go to the mountains, expand your view, etc.)
  • Send out positive intentions for Mother Earth and all beings
  • Visualise joyful and light scenarios for your yourself and others
  • Listen to or play music
  • Add others you like …

HELP YOURSELF- AND THEREBY OTHERS TOO

When you get in tune with your intuition, and when you speak with your soul and take action inspired by soul, you not only help yourself reach the highest good, you also create something positive  for others, as everything positive and helpful you do sends out ripples that reach out far beyond your own physical reach.

Even if you do not immediately feel or see the results of your good routines and deeds, trust that every little positive, uplifting and inspiring thing you do for yourself and for others, spread in the pond that we are all in. This is what some call “we are all one”, because what one does affects the whole, however small and non-important we feel we are. We ARE important, each and every one of us, and we do affect the whole. Our role on this Earth is important and it matters what we do.

When you open up your awareness to this universal law, you will begin to notice how all is interconnected, and how important your role actually is.
